About your Reflexologist
I trained with the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR), and now practise from my home in Batheaston, and at The Practice Rooms in the centre of Bath. I first became interested in reflexology, having experienced its effectivenes for myself. Research into training schools led me to the IIR Diploma course. This appealed to me as the IIR is the only school licensed to teach the original Eunice Ingham method. Eunice was the founder of modern day reflexology.
I have since continued with my own professional development, attending reflexology conferences and seminars to make sure my knowledge and technique is always expanding and up to date. I have recently trained in Vertical Reflexology (VRT), a technique carried out with the client standing. This can be given on it's own or combined with a classical reflexology session. I have also studied with Tony Porter and I am ART(Advanced Reflexology Techniques) registered.
As well as running my own practice I have also worked as an assistant teacher with the Bristol IIR School, helping to run their reflexology diploma course.
